Koonawarra PS is located near the shores of Lake lllawarra in the western suburbs of Wollongong. The school caters for students from preschool to Year 6. From its inception Koonawarra PS has received additional financial and educational support from the Priority Schools Funding Program, formerly known as the Disadvantaged Schools Program.
