Canobolas Public School was established in 1878 in the orchard area six kilometres south west of Orange. It is a four teacher school set in tree-studded grounds with many beautiful gardens around the buildings. The new classrooms and library provide modern and practical learning spaces and a visual contrast to the historic "old school". The school has always had a strong community bond and this continues to grow in strength.
