Glass House Mountains State School is situated in the foothills of the beautiful Glass House Mountains on the Sunshine Coast. Our school was established in 1906 and our Centenary was celebrated in April 2006. The school was established to service the increasing population of farming families. Pineapple, avocado, macadamia and custard apple farms still grace the landscape today, although not in large pockets as in earlier years. With year levels from Prep to Year 7, the school has a population of approximately 378 students. The school is privileged to share a successful and rewarding relationship between students, staff, parents and the wider community.
