Schools Australia introduces Donald High School in Donald, for all your education and learning needs.
Donald High School (year 2009 population 179) serves the East Wimmera town of Donald and the surrounding farming area. Over one third of the students travel in by bus from these areas.
The school aims to develop a partnership between teachers, students and parents so that each student may reach his or her full potential. The school promotes excellence in learning and achievement and encourages the values of respect for others, courtesy, honesty and responsible behaviour.
The school has an experienced and committed team of teachers who have high expectations of their students linked with a readiness to provide extra help to enable students to achieve their best. Our students have gained excellent VCE - HSC results over the last fifteen years and have been very successful in gaining entry into their first choice tertiary courses, employment and further training.
There is strong parent involvement through the School Council, Parents' Club, with sport, excursions and grounds maintenance.
Welcome to Donald High School one of the popular educators in your Donald area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
