Winchelsea Primary School is located in the township midway between Geelong and Colac on the Princes Highway. The school celebrated its 125th Anniversary in 2003 and remains the only school to service Winchelsea and the surrounding district. The buildings and grounds offer a range of resources to support the curriculum. These include a gymnasium shared with the community, a well equipped music room, a library, language centre, resource room, art room and a community room, withdrawal rooms in addition to teaching and administration areas.
