Terrigal Public School is a dynamic community school focussed on providing our students with the skills, knowledge and capacities to make sense of their world. Located on the NSW Central Coast our school community recognises that this is not sufficient. We strive to ignite passion for learning and nurture curiosity. We support our students in their endeavours to contribute to the community. We encourage their talents and quest for fulfilment. Our school has 28 mainstream classes and 3 support classes and a current school population of 740 students. We have strong links with the community and we are a proud member of the Terrigal Learning Community. We conduct an extensive transition program with Terrigal High School. Student welfare is a high priority and strategies to achieve this are based around the school rules of "Ready to Learn, Respect Yourself and Respect Others". The school has an emphasis on providing a variety of educational and extra-curricular experiences to enhance the learning of students. The school has successful programs in sport, dance, music, English as a second language and information technology. The school community runs the Terrigal Family Fun Fair biennially and this environmentally focused fund-raising event brings the community together in support of the school.
