Kardinia International College

Schools Australia introduces Kardinia International College in Bell Post Hill, for all your education and learning needs.

Kardinia International College offers education for both boys and girls from all over the world. Whilst most of our students are local, we have a consistent enrolment of approximately 60 students from various overseas countries. We have a maximum of 16 from one country so that we can integrate them fully into the College.

Homestay accommodation is organised by a homestay co-ordinator. This type of accommodation offers flexibility that boarding cannot. It also gives overseas students an Australian life experience.

Often people in the Geelong region imagine that there are a lot of overseas students at Kardinia because it is an 'international' College. This is actually not so. Of the 1800 students at Kardinia only 60 are from overseas, the vast majority are local students. At Kardinia we have a very different view on internationalism – we regard all 1800 students as international students – our whole approach and curriculum is designed to produce students who will graduate as global citizens and who can be leaders in our world.

Kardinia teaches the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme in the Kindergarten, Preschool and Junior School. Years 7-10 have a vertical curriculum which leads to either the Victorian Certificate of Education or the International Baccalaureate Diploma for Years 11 and 12.
